L’Université d’Avignon accueille plusieurs centaines d’étudiants étrangers chaque année. Divers dispositifs ont été mis en place pour les accueillir et les accompagner au mieux : guichet unique au CROUS (aide à la recherche de logement, à la constitution des dossiers de demande de titres de séjour, informations pratiques), cours de soutien linguistique et méthodologique.
Un programme d’accueil des étudiants étrangers nouvellement arrivés est proposé chaque année en septembre et en janvier-février (au 2eme semestre, pour les étudiants en échange uniquement)  avant le début des cours.

Foreign students fall into three categories:

1- Vous souhaitez préparer un diplôme à l’Université : see the section Non-exchange students pour en savoir plus sur les formalités d’inscription et sur l’offre de formation.

2- Vous êtes inscrit dans un établissement étranger, partenaire de notre université, et souhaitez effectuer une période d’études à Avignon en tant qu’étudiant en échange (ERASMUS+, bilateral agreements, BCI ): see Exchange students. You will find the LISTE DES COURS EN ANGLAIS HERE

3- Vous désirez suivre une formation en Français Langue Etrangère au Centre Universitaire d’Etudes Françaises d’Avignon (SDL) : see the section French courses.

Avignon Université a mis en place une plateforme gratuite afin de vous accompagner dans l’ensemble de vos démarches liées à l’arrivée en France.

On this platform, you will be able to :

  • Finding accommodation
  • Opening a bank account
  • Réaliser l’ensemble des démarches administratives (visa, CAF, mutuelle, etc.)

Une journée d’accueil des internationaux est organisée à chaque rentrée universitaire. Pour 2023-24, elle aura lieu le 4 septembre. Tous les internationaux acceptés dans nos formations à Avignon Université recevront une information et un lien d’inscription. Au programme, un petit-déjeuner et un pique-nique, des activités d’intégration, une visite de la ville et une sortie en Camargue ( parc ornithologique et saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer) le week-end. Un guichet unique d’accueil et d’accompagnement aux démarches est présent à la Maison de l’International durant le mois de septembre.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Avignon University hosts several hundreds of foreign students every year. Various schemes have been implemented in order to welcome and accompany them at best, like a single service point located at the CROUS (helping with accommodation-seeking, residence permits applications, practical information), and methodology and language-support classes.

A welcome programme for freshly arrived foreign students is proposed twice a year, in September and January or early February before classes start.

Foreign students fall into 3 categories:

2- You are enrolled in a foreign partner university and wish to study in Avignon as an exchange student  (ERASMUS+, bilateral agreements, BCI, Sciences Sans Frontière) : please check the topic Exchange students. You can find our LIST OF COURSES TAUGHT IN ENGLISH HERE

3- You wish to take a course in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) in Avignon University Language Service : please check the topic French courses.

A welcome day for international students is organised at the beginning of each academic year. For 2023-24, it will take place on 4 September. All international students accepted into our programmes at Avignon University will receive information and a registration link. The programme includes a breakfast and a picnic, integration activities, a visit to the city and an outing to the Camargue (ornithological park and saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer) on the weekend. A welcome desk for reception and assistance with procedures is available at the Maison de l’International during the month of September.
